Why am I passionate about fundraising? It's one way I can make a real difference in the world: I'm excited to support charities and for impact organizations to get the funds they need for scaling their operations to their next level of impact.
As a child and youth, I witnessed my mom suffer intensely with a variety of health challenges, and I saw how the responses of people made things better - or worse. I became passionate to help alleviate suffering. Over time, a passion for justice also developed. Further, long before concerns about the planet were mainstream, I was deeply concerned about the effects of water, air, and land pollution.
I'm ready to help you make a difference - whether it's in international humanitarian and development assistance, for children and youth in poverty, people dealing with homelessness, veterans facing PTSD or other challenges, seniors dealing with various difficulties, the planet, wildlife, people with disabilities, facing health concerns, addictions, discrimination, family breakdown, or a myriad of other issues.
Please check out my Credentials below - and my Results and Experience - which were gained working in 5 different charities - 2 of them very small (Hazelglen Alliance; Soul Quest), 2 medium size (On Site Placement; AdaptAbilities), and one large (Catholic Social Services) - in two Canadian provinces over 22 years. Along with my Fund Development roles, I have 14 years of experience serving on or working closely with Boards of Directors.
